National Vocational Qualifications
| Since being recognized as
an approved assessment center for NVQ in September 1992 we have trained
hundreds of transport staff. Indeed we were one of the first organizations
to recognize the importance of NVQ's and certainly one of the first to
be authorized to assess them. The scheme has changed a great deal since
those earlier days of D.C.A.S. It now encompasses attendants as well as
drivers.
All of our training is designed along the same standard as required by NVQ/SVQ. So we are able to issue certificates to go towards elements of competence to make up the necessary units later using APL (accreditation of prior learning) to achieve a full NVQ. We can also arrange for full NVQ training and assessment if required. VRQ and Btec qualifications are now available. |

For Travel attendants there are 4 mandatory units plus 1 of two optional units that make up the full NVQ. These are normally at level II but there are certain types of operation that would qualify for level III Although the costs vary depending on requirements numbers, etc.,
it is still one of the less expensive NVQ's to obtain. Certificates
towards elements can cost as little as £2.00 if issued at the
time of training. For further details please e. Mail us stating your
requirements and possible numbers.
