Risk assessment

The experience we have gained over the last twenty years has allowed us to offer an in-depth risk review service specifically designed to meet and address those challenges

With the enormous demands made on the staff within the department both from the passengers and their parents and from the justifiable but demanding requirements of best value reviews it is sometimes difficult to step back and look at the way you plan, deliver and monitor your services.

The service offering is based on the following core assessments:-

An in depth review and risk assessment of the processes taking place within the department
An in depth review and risk assessment of the information-or lack of information- contained within those processes
A recommended Action Plan to address the identified risks
A health check that defines whether you are meeting the appropriate Health and Safety regulations, including Manual Handling, COSHH, PUWER, RIDDOR, LOLER etc.
An assessment and review of the contracts for provision that you use for selecting and appointing your external service providers
A health check to ensure that all appropriate assessment and monitoring processes are being applied effectively
A health check to ensure that your staff are receiving appropriate and effective training as identified under the LAPTOP guidelines
The review will also monitor randomly selected routes.

The departmental review can either be a short sharp health check or an in-depth detailed review. The objective in either case is to ensure that you have the information to understand whether you are operating in the most effective and efficient manner and that you meet the many regulatory and budgetary environments that you must work under.
